How do I enable ping for my EC2 instance?
If you would like to be able to ping your EC2 instances, you must ensure that the security group for the instance allows ICMP traffic. Here is one simple way to do this in Ylastic.
- Select the security group from the groups page.
- Click the Add an IP Permission button.
- Configure it as shown below.
