add EC2 instance name tag to auto-scale group create/edit
Please add the ability to set the name tag for EC2 instances created by an auto-scale group.

AWS added the ability to add tags when a scaling group is created. These tags can be propagated to the instances that are launched in the scaling group. Is that what you are looking for? Or are you wanting to add custom tags to the launched instances in the scaling group?
