Billing reports by tag via AWS Cost Allocation Reports
AWS allows Cost Allocation Reports via programmatic billing which reports costs and also includes costs based on a tag in a resource. For example, an EC2 instance can have a tag called "environment" and the user-defined values could be "production" and "development". With the programmatic billing enabled and the tag "environment" setup in programmatic billing, AWS produces a cost allocation reports that includes all the normal billing items plus a column called "environment" that has the user-defined values (in this example, "production" and "development").
It would be great if ylastic could use this data and report on the defined tag. We have different business units using AWS and it would be unbelievably useful to bill back the units on actual usage based on these cost reports.

We have been thinking over doing something like this. Would you mind giving a little more detail on how you would like to see this in Ylastic? That would be incredibly helpful for us in building this.
thanks for the suggestion!
