Hello,
Is there a way in Ylastic to start an instance at 8am and turn it down at 5pm daily? I have a client doing dev and prefer to not leave running all night.

You can setup a task to start an instance at 8 am and then another task to stop it at 5pm. Currently you need to use the instance id for the tasks. We want to add new tasks where you can match instances by tag in the future.

The tasks all run in US eastern TZ. Please keep that in mind.

Is that what you are looking for?

I think so. The option to Start EBS Backed Instance? Why does it ask for Associate EIP?
